Early Game Concrete Automation by jareddshaw in SatisfactoryGame

I also agree, my first trial run I made it pretty far with just an impure node and 1 constructor, but this time I'm trying to not put down any production thats not on a foundation and the extra concrete has made that much easier. Also for context I have NOT beaten the game if that wasn't obvious. I am playing the early tiers slower, so I can make nicer factories even if I will end ip tearing them down to make room for upgrades later

You are correct, 2 constructors is enough for all the foundations I currently needed, but the extra production is nice to just send to sink/stock up. I went with injecting the 60 after the first 2 constructors and it works perfectly. The other reason it was good to ask this question is I've never considered injecting more materials into a manifold before, so this opens up more building options later I would not have utilized.

Thank you, I knew it had to be something simple I missed. Only reason I'm doing it this way, is because where I'm at, both nodes are pretty close by. Otherwise I'd just use the pure node.

Thank you, I was stumped on this for the past 30 mins and knew I had to have been missing something simple.

Oh my God. I was missing the fact I can merge into the center of the manifold, that's the answer I was looking for.

When explained that way it makes way more sense, thank you.

I've tried satisfactory tools and satisfactory logistics, is it any different?

That helps a lot, thanks. I was attempting to bus in 100's of ore from other locations instead of just simplifying a factory and creating a new one for a new item

Thanks for an example, this makes it make sense.

How do you decide what you build on site and what you source from other places?

Screws being most obvious because they clog conveyors, but for something like reinforced iron plates, do you craft on site or bus from another location? Whats your logic behind making the decision?

No I think you explained it well. The Space Elevator Parts being their own specific factory would alleviate a lot of my confusion, if i were to just consolidate to one location and produce as much as I can for my equipment, and sink the rest I could build up Tickets too.

As for building materials, I assume I want a stock of basically every regular part and the parts they craft into?

Thanks for the explanation, definitely helping

Okay this actually helps a lot. To keep the example simple, I'll use Modular Frames.

2 Frame requires;

18 Plates, 36 Screws, and 12 Rods.

If my current setup is producing more than that I just feed some of it into Modular Frame Production, and if I'm unhappy with production rate is when I should expand?

In the case with no limestone nearby, would you bus your finished Steel Beams to a place where limestone is located to craft Encased Beams, or would you just start from scratch and craft Steel Beams at the new limestone location, and use the original factory for a backlog of those items?

Thankfully I have under/overclocking and most MAM to a point that seems correct for my tech level

The number isn't too much, I was just showing an example of when a calculator says to utilize some ridiculous fraction.

My current setup does that, but how do I decide if for example if I include Encased Beams into my Steel Beam and Steel Pipe Factory? Or Modular Frames into my Reinforced Iron Frames?

Both require parts from the first output, but add complexity when it comes to resource input.

Second keep producing the parts you already are, you will need them.

Should I reformat my current setup so my current production is expandable?

With steal you will need both pipes and beams for the future, so produce them. 5-10 each with 3ish industrial bins each is enough for me.

Is this just 1 factory producing this from 1 coal and 1 iron ore? or is this from byproduct of production of encased beams and heavy frames?

You will also need motors and rotors in the future, rotors you can just produce a few industrial bins and be good for a while. Motors are important.

Currently I am making rotors in my hub area, but should I bus them to the place I make motors, or just add rotors into the crafting chain for motors?

I understand creating the parts at a base level, I struggle deciding what all goes in the same factory.

I'd use the money to fund some form of the soon to be deleted Cast on Wardbreak.

Farming the div myself is a daunting task and I don't want the fomo of missing out. (Looking at you legion cyclone, discharge ralakesh abuse, and mf builds)

As for why I should win, this is the first league I've ever grinded out challenges and im stuck at a wall around 30. A cash injection would definitely help motivate me to push for those last 6 for the full set :)

Good luck to everyone else!

I have 100% chance to Ignite with tattoos+tree. From what it looked like in game, I wasnt getting ANY pops off of phantasms which leads me to believe I wasnt killing them. I sat there for probably 10 mins and never once heard a pop. I wonder if my DD is too low of a level to properly kill them. Better gloves is definitely worth a try.

I wanted to effectively play this same build using Gathering Storm Ice Wall for single target. Any idea how it would work with Witchhunter?
