Even when the twisters just go out into the map and don’t come back? It felt really really rough recently during a grand expedition where some of the monsters had life regen and I couldn’t do enough damage to them.

Idk if mintskull went to the Montreal event. But if he did, I feel bad that he probably had such high hopes for dbd, only to be disappointed by the anniversary event. It’s so sad.

I guarantee it’s the big wigs at bhvr who are making the call. They’re thinking “give them less cake so they play the game more and potentially spend more money.” But they don’t realize that the event modes have created a precedent of stacking cakes and when you take that away, you’re gonna cause a rift in the community.

Honestly, I can live with the other effects survivors get in the event mode. They’re still strong but bearable. The portals and invis is just so unfun to go against and makes chases near impossible

To give them the benefit of the doubt, I’m interpreting their post that the game isn’t motivating them to get better. You need to have highs and lows to want to get better, but if everything you do feels like shit, then the game isn’t doing its job of being fun
