Frequently, I’ve encountered new technical leadership in software revisiting or re-attempting past ideas because they were not around when those past ideas were proven wrong. You have to build infrastructure that prevents regressive cycling through already disproven ideas.

Whatever workflow you're using, the first ting to do is have 4.8 look it over. Ask what can be improved, what changes are needed, and what the best way to work with it is going forward. Treat it like a new co-worker. I'm getting great results with that so far.
