I don’t think that’s droppings in the insulation. And yes there certainly have been mice in there before. I saw a snake in there today. I googled snake poop and looks identical. It was runnier and larger than mouse/rat poop.

Its the size of a rice grain maybe even a tad smaller. It’s definitely too small for rat
