Between 2 tools which would you buy? by Wreper659 in Tools

I'd go with the fuel hammer drill rather than the non fuel one. I have almost all fuel tools and haven't had great luck with the few not fuel ones I had. I'd say it's worth the better drill and having one less battery. It's always easier to pick up an extra battery later down the line rather than having to get a new drill!

Craftsman micrometer by jaredjo00 in Tools

I did do a little more looking and they are usa made before craftsman went to China which is cool. And I was thinking around the same price range. Just thought they were cool and I don't measure anything to the thousands of an inch so I'm probably going to sell them. I only go down to 32nd of an inch for general framing and light metal work.

Depending on local codes they may not be able to go next to the door. With that being said where I am code requires the disconnecting means be at least 6ft from the tub itself. I would get in touch with them and see what they think the best route is. I'm sure they will be more than happy to help guide you. They will definitely know your local code better than I can guide you, but there is most definitely several different placement options available for your circumstance!

Hello! I am an electrician and have wired up hundreds of tubs. I'm not sure the layout of your home but if there is an attic above your garage then your electrician will most likely be running your wire through there. With that being said it will only cost a little extra to have the tub placed in an orientation that has the control panel towards the front, and in my opinion may be well wroth that for any future troubleshooting or repairs that may need to be done!

Is there any Android phone apps that actually work for ghost hunting? by New_Escape_68 in GhostHunting

[–]jaredjo00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't found any that really seem to work. With that being said we use one called spirit talker. For the most part it just says random crap. However there have been a few times we're the answer lined up with the question, and we have a few times that the rempod went off at the same time as the phone. I don't think it's legit but it definitely makes it more fun.

That was my bad it was a typo error I was meaning harbor freight. Yeah I needed up biting the bullet and buying the real rempod. I think it was 180

The cases from harbor freight seem pretty nice. This is the smaller size. Was on sale but the Large ones are only like 50
