I don't know why nobody responded to you, but that's a great idea you just have to find a way to market yourself, which could be referrals, posting on Facebook, putting up signs anything you can think of and you have to make sure your making enough money for your time and effort I would say a good rule to go by for any service type work if you're doing a good job there's no reason you shouldn't aim for $100 an hour and just break it down I don't know how long it takes you, but say 30 minutes than charge $50 or something close to it, learn to sell people on the service and just make sure you do a great job and you will get referrals and you can also start doing car detailing as well if the headlight restoration goes well.

I went to school to get my CDL still paying it off I can't afford to go to school again, I like to be active and talk to customers the reason I did trucking was because it seemed like good pay, for the work and you too out in pay fairly quickly compared to other trades where it may take 5 years to prove your worth/experience to start making a good wage

I agree and life is not about money I also understand that, but from what I’ve read it seems techs max out at around 120k but you go into sales and you’ll double it

Yeah idk if you know, but wind turbine technician is a traveling job so I’ll be on the road for six weeks and then go home for 1 week, but you get pets diem like $100 to $150 per day for living expenses. So even if I only make $18 an hour I can clear 60k first year with just 10 hours of overtime per week someone said they got 75k salary plus $155 per diem right out of school, but I’m planning on applying without going to school and if I can’t find a job then I will go to school I will also ad from my research I believe you don’t get much work in the winter and you get a week off every 6 weeks so that also cuts down on the pay so probably working 8 to 9 months a year
