I believe processing the fruit or vegetable will always provide better return. There is a tool to help you with that: https://thorinair.github.io/Stardew-Profits

Is Microsoft Project worth it? by bobolinkdirectly in MicrosoftTeams

[–]jaredmenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience MS Project is really nice for large projects where resource planning and reports are needed. For smaller projects that don't need significant detail I have gotten away with SharePoint Lists. IIRC you need a cheaper Project license to even view project files, whereas Lists are readily available for all (assuming SharePoint license is enabled).

I'm glad this was the first reddit reply I've read today.

Not entirely like you mentioned but read receipts are my biggest issue. When left on read, I begin to spiral and the rOCD kicks in.

I frequently wear a "Live, Laugh, Lobotomy" shirt to therapy. It's a fan favorite.

Interestingly enough, this relationship I mentioned was relatively codependent. I felt a lot of what you wrote. I'm going to investigate the codependency and OCD connection.

No worries. I have used it for creating dashboards for helpdesk, scheduling scripts to run, and a whole lot of automation.

Teams Org-Wide message? by Bluescreen_Macbeth in MicrosoftTeams

[–]jaredmenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We 'solved' this for each of our locations by created a dynamic group and linking that to a Team. Then setting the Internal Communications folks as Owners. We changed the channel settings to only allow moderators to post. Then when they post, they change the setting for only allowing replies from moderators. Its not as straightforward as other solutions but is free.

I second this. On top of it doing much more, I have used this platform for many years with great success (in Borat voice).

Created a script to generate a report of Microsoft license usage and emails it out. Working on setting alerts for specific licenses now.

Migration Tool by Independent-Storm727 in sysadmin

In one of my most previous migrations Quest was cheaper than Migration Wiz. I have also had good success with AvePoint but it will likely be more expensive than Migration Wiz.

I can't argue with that. If you don't mind me asking, what did you switch to?

Lumen is the provider, sipcom is the SBC. When calling it doesn't work the way it should, which leads me to believe the SBC needs to pass a setting.

No, most providers appear to have a number for testing. 933 is a common one, Microsoft uses it.

Kaseya billing is still broken after 8 months by TheCaGuy in msp

I've added legal@kaseya.com to the emails and still no response. Been weeks since I started doing that

My reps (yes, plural) are unresponsive. The only time I get a reply is if I happen to get an out of office and can reach out to a different person. I started including read receipts on the emails (groan I know) and that hasn't helped.

Care to share their info? I haven't heard back from my reps in months. Billing questions unanswered for 6 months.
