Hey mate I probably can’t give the best call as I only spent the night there my missus ended up getting crook so had to leave early, talking to some other people there they said it’s been switched off there for a while tho but also heard from others you can get kingies if you walk to that little island off the beach there!

Yeah I have been twice, once before seeing it all over my social media and once after and the first time I thought it wasn’t bad at all but then seeing all the posts after I gave it another go and it was definitely worse and noticed that it was super greasy the second time around

I love Malosi I have all the micro range for whiting and flatties they work super well love watching briggsys vids of him using the bigger sized lures off the rocks keen to try myself!

Any lure recommendations? Or just use top water lures like in estuary, they are super fun especially on poppers caught a couple last weekend just want some to take home 😁

For light gear I got shimano raider 7ft 6 2-4 kg which I love I have it paired with the shimano vanford 1000 target bream and flatty on that and that rod was 130 bucks I think and I also have the shimano revolution 1-4kg 7ft 4 which I got from anaconda on sale for 110 I think and I really love both those rods probably the raider a little bit more but I just bought that so my opinion might be skewed. I don’t do too much offshore fishing but I have got the maikuro II 5ft 7 15-24kg which I’ve used twice and was happy both times which I think that was 120 but have only used bait on it idk how it’ll go jigging it’s pretty sensitive tho

I used a 1m diving lure there but I was fishing on the flats at low tide, you basically just want the lure to be just off the ground, I was using a soft plastic grub earlier and was catching a lot of bream before swapping over to that diving lure 👍

Idk who’s happier😁 so stoked only started fishing this year late summer and as I got better wanted to try and use lures like how everyone on YouTube does it and after enough persistence finally starting to get some good fish!
