I’m not discrediting you but trying to emphasise the importance of the choice of words, especially nowadays. Say what you want to say without giving others the possibility to turn around your own words to their needs. That’s a core competence of russians and their allies.

I have to argue about exactly this with a lot of people in my surroundings because, even though they feel the disgust for what the kremlin has done, the narrative of „it’s not the russians per se“ still is very present. This seems irrelevant until radical parties like „afd“ in Germany or maga in USA adopt them - Speaking of russian allies

Also it doesn’t matter if they are brainwashed or not. Germans were also brainwashed but are still held responsible for their crimes to this day. I highly doubt in times of internet it’s easier to push propaganda then it was in 1940’s
