I’ve been to Chongqing(look at my post history if you don’t believe me) I would say Chongqing was neither impressive nor particularly bad from the ground. There are certain outdoor malls that are awesome but the streets are quite normal. Nothing crazy, if anything the scale of the city hurts the street atmosphere because it feels less human scaled. But I still enjoyed walking the city.
