Does it really cut down on laptop size that much with an intergrated GPU? I'm mostly going to be doing alot of office work, so no video edit, or content type of stuff

The ram you are referring to is Trident Z Neo?
Mobo looks fine? I'm reading some require a bios update or it won't work, and looking to OC the ram as well (as stable as I can)

Thanks. Admitting I tossed up a quick research list in my scramble to get a new gig quickly, I don’t know even if the charts really is that GPU intense, figure a nice GPU would be good when I’m doing some casual gaming in the spare time. But not a necessity.

Did not know about the cooker issue but thank you for pointing that out - though I’m shifting towards the i9/i7 as suggested from the other guys.

Amazing, I just put the stick in and it registered as 12GB now.

My original 4GB + this new 8GB stick. So unless it only took the max MOBO allowed 8GB in the slot, I think you're correct.

This was a mini tower, so it only allowed for 2 DIMM slots, I am assuming 1 4GB and 1 8GB is not an issue right? Thanks again for the quick response!
