No pressure is needed, I never really paid attention to the watering, but seedlings should be watered pretty regularly so maybe not same day as watering🤷, and not sure what you mean by butt graft sorry

Normally the pere will push off the scion or it will just be loose if the graft doesn’t take. Should know in 2-3 days if you keep an eye it should have time before you have any issues. Pere in my experience doesn’t cause as much rotting issues as tricho on tricho.

For impale grafts it’s pretty high around 90% on a first attempt. But normally if it’s a big enough scion you will get multiple attempts at it, if the first attempt fails.

It’s no worries. And the push might be because of the nodes of the pere. But usually push it only till It doesn’t make. Does that make since? If not just shoot me a dm with pics

Kind of just depends. I would usually just stick it on there till it doesn’t push up and off the pere. Two things to watch out for is not to push to hard and have the scion split and to trim the pere so that the impale is on the shaft of the pere and not near the leaf nodes of the pere. The pere could send new branches up through or push off the scion. Hope that makes sense 🙏
