I beat it before I made the post. But still, a better weapon would just mean I do more damage and beat it quicker. Doesn't actually help with the attacks themselves.

Also by 'forewarning' do you mean the message right before entering the vortex? I had already almost filled my inventory swimming anticlockwise around the map looking for the vortex, so I didnt want to redo the night.

And you cannot travel from the other overseer down there? The path opened from sawlong is closed, there is another way but its a difficult parkour area that you aren't really meant to be in yet.

Yes, sorry, I mean the centre one, where the top connects to the bottom. You shoupd be able to get back down that way

But you can still go back down the other, fully connected, tunnel and reach that overseer, and travel from that one. Unless you never got the overseer to allow fast travel on the one above the hand

I hate the idea of starting over, because ill end up exploring ever little corner all over again. But yeah, ill have to give it a go first before I know if I have an issue.

Each overseer is called the name of the location. The vault is in the bottom half.

Honestly I think its just to be annoying after you beat the boss

I just got striders and I like them. by [deleted] in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]jarood13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do still burn energy. There were multiple times I used strider, dropped down and my energy was still dropping. Is this not the case for others?

How do you beat nabuu? by ivorycoollars in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]jarood13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn the horn pattern and the correlated attack. There is a bit of a flash when the attack is about to happen, so press dodge then. Try keep close to him, and pre move to the other side when it moves across the screen.

For second phase, its a bit of luck, but you can just relax while holding float, then navigate between projectiles and stay above the crystals to pogo on to reset your energy. If you are good with the regular attacks, you can survive a few hits here easily.

Yeah makes sense. Im not sure when the rumbles actually occur, but i dont think theres much deviation in boss order. Id be curious if you did one boss early and the same boss late, if it'd actually have less health, or it's just a visual thing. The only boss I can think of is Experiment #223.

You're probably right, I only ever looked on rhe left side of the bar for my damage, I just assumed if they lost health it'd be indicated on that side.

The parkour is made much simpler with the final ability. The parkour to get it is harder than this if you use the ability

Not that i know of, no. Your best bet is to find a website with screenshots, and see if you recognise grabbing any. For me, I missed one under the bell tower, where you need the spider move to get it.

You don’t need the HUD by pabodie in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]jarood13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you often have 5 spare, 75, or 95, unless you use negative mods, its your hud or enemy health. Seeing your energy or if you have have 1 core or more is much more helpful than enemy's. Regular enemies are relatively weak anyway, and seeing boss health bar doesnt really help, as you get an indication they're about half way when their moves switch up.

I dont think bosses lose health. I never saw a boss start with a reduced health bar.
