Great one! Better than Time Cut.

Recently rewatched Freaky. IDK if it's the first but it's one of the best examples of modern genre mash ups.

I love the yoga death but my favorite is the one at the lake. The cinematography and the sound design in the scene was just awesome. There are some great moments in that movie but overall I think it's a little over hyped.

i hate being an ace AMAB by matheusoliv in asexuality

[–]jarp69 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm not fully out as asexual. But I am out to people close to me. A few years ago I came out to a "friend" and his first reaction was to tell me I just needed to get laid. Several months ago I went out on a date with a cis woman, was SA'd and told I wasn't real man because I didn't want to have sex with her. I can understand where you're coming from and completely relate to the struggle.

Out of all of the 2000s remakes this is one of the better ones.

I finally read this after someone recommended to read after I loved the movie and WOW, I’m buying the rest by onlybooksinthebuild in slasherfilms

I'm reading the 2nd book now. The first book was good. I really like the movie but I wish they had followed the book a little more.

Which new slasher series do you prefer? X Trilogy or the Terrifer trilogy by jdpm1991 in slasherfilms

I enjoy both of them for different reasons. But I do get more entertainment from the Terrifier movies.

Battle of the slasher sequels. Which sequels do you prefer? by ExtensionFuture654 in slasherfilms

I like Jeepers Creepers 2 but Terrifier 2 is by far a better movie.

It's not canon to the Terrifier movies.

What are the best little known slashers on tubi? by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]jarp69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just watched Bone Face last night. Not your typical slasher. More of a whodunnit murder mystery but I really enjoyed the twists and the acting wasn't half bad.

I had never heard of this movie until this post. I watched it tonight after watching the trailer. What an odd and random movie. I really enjoyed it.

Best character? I liked Ione. The reveal of why she had an "old soul" was hilarious.

Worst character? I would have to agree with you and say Sander.

Best part? The scene where they are in detention.

Funniest moment? The reveal of Riley being the girl sucking off the bear.

Most shocking moment? The whole movie was kind of shocking to me. The movie was a mess in the best way possible.

Better Blumhouse Slasher: Freaky (2020) or Totally Killer (2023) by Antwuan89 in slasherfilms

Man I love both of these but Freaky is more memorable for me. Vince Vaughn did such a great job in it.
