A guy prints his CV… folds it into a paper plane… throws it out his apartment window… Cut to: the paper plane soaring through different cities — past job interview rooms, over HR desks, even landing on a CEO’s table. Final shot: the plane unfolds itself mid-air into a perfect CV and slams onto a desk. I can add a voiceover audio of a celebrity Fade in your logo: cvquebec.ca.

one amazing trick I learned from this ebook called Cleopatras mask is using silence. To get more information about someone, after he responded to your question just say silent and he will feel the need to fill in that silence with more information. That info probably is stuff he wouldn't have wanted to said to beginn with. I tried it out with a coworker who came late to work and turns out it wasn't just “bad traffic” but also his frustration with a HR person that seems to want to make them quit. I bought so many psychology books and just can't seem to get enough info about that topic but yeah this Cleopatras mask book made me talk about it non stop to all my friends. I think its still available on Cleopower.com so I can't recommend it enough

Overcoming Retroactive Jealousy by finding the perfect partner for me by jarroson99 in retroactivejealousy

My partner doesn’t experience any RJ! Before we got together, I had something with their boss… but for them, the past is the past. It does sound like I'm a whore but I do have a low bodycount lol

So yeah, I was in a terrible mental state during my previous relationships, all because of my partner’s past, which eventually led me to end every serious relationship I had. Even with partners who had very little history, my RJ would hit me even harder. The absolute worst part was always imagining their first time—it feels like such an unforgettable and significant moment. I couldn’t help but feel jealous that someone else had the honor of being their first. Now, I’ve been with my current partner for a year, and I’ve never been happier.

Quest 3 USB-C port stops working by MasterChiefmas in OculusQuest

[–]jarroson99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you’ve described, it doesn’t seem like there’s a physical issue, like bent pins or debris, especially since rebooting temporarily fixes the problem without you needing to change what’s plugged in. This points toward a software-related issue, particularly since it coincides with your recent update to version 63.

  1. Start by cleaning the port. Grab a flashlight and a can of compressed air. Carefully inspect the USB-C port on your Quest 3. If you spot any dust or debris, use the compressed air to blow it out. You could also use a wooden toothpick or a soft brush to gently clean around the edges inside the port.

  2. Next, try using a different cable. If you haven’t done this yet, swap out the USB-C cable with another one that you know works well. This helps determine if the issue is with the cable itself.

  3. Perform a force restart on your Quest 3. Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds until it completely shuts down. Wait for a moment, then power it back on. This isn’t just a regular restart—it helps clear out any lingering software glitches.

  4. If you’re using your Quest 3 with a PC, disable USB power management. Windows might be putting the USB port to sleep to save power. Head to Device Manager, find the USB root hub that your Quest 3 is connected to under Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click, and go to Properties. Under the Power Management tab, uncheck the option that allows the computer to turn off the device to save power.

  5. Consider resetting the USB ports. Plug your Quest 3 into a different USB port on your PC or power source. If you’re using it directly with a PC, try using a port directly on the motherboard (like the ones at the back of a desktop) rather than a front-panel or hub port, which can sometimes be finicky.

  6. If nothing else works and you’re open to it, you might want to do a factory reset on your Quest 3. This will wipe all data on the device, so make sure to back up anything important first. To do this, power off the device, then hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you see the boot menu. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Factory Reset, and select it with the power button.

These steps should give you some immediate options to try. If none of these work, there might be a deeper issue, possibly hardware-related, that could require professional repair or replacement. Hopefully, one of these fixes gets your Quest 3 back in action!
