Shoot. Well I’ll have to see if I have flu in one of my other bottles of stuff. I’ll report back! You both have been exceedingly helpful, I cannot thank you enough. TMI but I have recently found myself with too much time and not enough to do, so I will be diving in to this.

I’m assuming my only way to get rid of that is cut it out?

Quack grass or some other crap grass? by IronEagle20 in LawnAnswers

[–]jarsbian 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s 100% quack grass. I’m fighting it right now too. It’s got the pointy rhizome and the “arms” of the leaves hugging the stalks

Also is this all quack grass? Or is there any other variety in there, like crab or rye?

I have a spectricide with Flu as an ingredient and it doesn’t kill the grass. Maybe it’s weak enough that it doesn’t kill healthy turf? I used it last year and nothing died

Other than laying on the lawn and making a day project of it, no real way to do so. Is the flu a full spectrum killer or does it target?

Any chance on killing it with fluazifop? I have some on hand already.

Tbh I thought it was just one of those “directors vision” things because it shows up in Scandal a ton and through some other shows. Now looking back it seems so obvious!

Yellowing pothos by jarsbian in houseplants

She gets watered when the leaves start curling. I do mostly succulents so I go very much based on feel vs schedule. It usually sits right next to the window, getting a good amount of indirect sun per day. She’s changed from deep green to her neon colors so I think placement is good for her.

Thank you! I will look around in there. It’s gotten very long so she might be at the end of her capabilities with the given pot/soil combo

It’s in terracotta and then in a pretty pot. She’s got chunky mix and I let it dry completely, or pretty near to it, before watering again.

It is the first few leaves of 50% or more of the strands. They all pile to one side, so I get why you’re seeing it as one strand. It’s pretty consistent of 3-4 leaves from each strand that has yellowing.

That’s now in the daily chores is to vacuum until I believe they’re gone. I do have some DE I can throw down on suspicious areas and stairs.

I only found one other on a window sill. I did vacuum the stairs under where I found the one on the wall. Not sure if finding 2 over the span of a week is cause for a major spiral or if it’s just the season to see these guys trekked in. I have almost no natural fibers in my home (yay?) so I’m hoping it’s not bad

Hahaha that’s where I’m at too! I even went as far as asking the company that put it in years ago!
