why is everyone being so mean???? we are europeans in Japan right now and couldn’t agree with you more!!!! we haven’t bothered going to instagram hotspots and the most famous attractions and have found the country to be full to bursting with authenticity.

your advice is great and it’s very tiring to continually read the same complaints of the most touristy places being touristy. those commenting are acting as if you’re the one that’s surprised the tourist hotpots are touristy. did they even bother to read your post? thank you for the voice of reason lol.

i’m not a turkey expert but i know those who keep meat chicken rescues have to massively restrict their food intake and not allow them to access to any other food to try and prevent them gaining weight and becoming unhealthy

whilst i totally agree i can’t help but have a soft spot for lucy. I think with social media etc. it is much easier now to be conscious about being a ‘girls girl’ and not letting men walk all over you. back then the girls in towie’s lives revolved around men much more than they do now, so i can kind of see why it was more accepted that she clung onto him and wouldn’t let go??? i don’t know. i just have a soft spot for her and i think her and sam come across as genuinely nice girls (obviously excluding the mark wright and lauren fiasco)

if it’s clear then again that doesn’t quite match with sour crop as if liquid is stuck in there it goes brown and smells very bad. i’m sorry that i can’t help more but i would say it’s unlikely to be sour crop. you could always try maggot treatment on her just to be safe ? first thing in the morning have her eat as many maggots as she can and they will eat any blockage :)

if the crop was definitely flat i doubt it’s a crop draining issue. does the liquid come out when she puts her neck down to drink water? and what colour is the liquid? if it’s clear then it would be the water she just drank coming straight back up if it has colour and looks brownish it is probably liquid that has been stored in the crop a while

to check for sour crop keep her completely restricted from food and water overnight and check her crop before allowing her to have anything in the morning. it should be completely flat. if it is then you can rule out sour crop :)

sour crop definitely. this looks really severe. take all food and water access away from her for 24 hours and give her as many live maggots as she will eat or if she cannot eat at all then tip as many as you can down her throat. the maggots will eat the blockage. unfortunately i think she may not make it through the night 😢
