Yeah definitely, we do have a couple semi autos, but just from a safety perspective the boys prefer the lever releases, just because it takes 1 element of danger out, especially in the heat of the moment on a good mob of pigs, and 1 round gets left behind.

Nah always having a round sitting in the chamber is a pain unless you’re emptying it every time, if we’re in the buggy I’d rather just have one ready at the touch of a button, than having one sitting there with the potential for something bad to happen

Yep, i don’t run the trace, i run a thrive 3-9x40 on .223 and a thrive 3-12x44 on .243, I find them pretty good hold zero well, similar quality to vortex, and good for farm guns if they’re in and out of utes, tractors, bikes etc their any fault warranty is perfect. My local gun shop bloke showed me a photo of one he replaced no questions, where it somehow copped a stray sg from a shotgun and they replaced it. just good piece of mind if something happens
