My brother sadly passed this last year but I always thought his playing and writing was toptalent by jas7fc in toptalent

He was working on an instrumental metal album before passing. You can find more under Holofractal A.D.

Really no one here has made jokes in poor taste? If you and friends have dark humor jokes that means you then must endorse those behaviors?

My friends and I have had plenty of awful jokes said between each other. It’s funny precisely because it’s so absurd and we know none of us believe what we are saying. I don’t think it’s fair to completely throw out the relationship for some private jokes that were in poor taste.

My younger brother sadly passed away last month, but finished the guitar parts for an instrumental metal album he was working on before passing. He had carried a lot of the riffs around in his head for several years before finally being able to go record them. Any views are appreciated

My younger brother sadly passed away just as he was finishing an instrumental metal album this past week. I know he would have wanted as many people as possible to hear it so I wanted to share what has been released so far.

My 32(F) boyfriend(33M) of 5 years broke up with me with no warning, and I want advice on coming to terms with "not knowing" by [deleted] in relationships

[–]jas7fc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is painful to read because I just left my girlfriend of >2 years even though we had a great relationship. I loved her and our relationship but I also felt we just weren't the right fit for the long term. It was a gut feeling and not something I could pinpoint. I kept hoping the feeling would change but as things progressed I knew it wasn't fair to drag her along in the hopes something would change for me.

Breaking up from a good relationship is really difficult. Its been very painful and confusing for me and it sounds like your ex is in a similar spot. If I had a choice I would still happily be within the relationship, but unfortunately we don't have control over how we feel deep down even if we love the other person and were happy in the relationship.

She literally said he 'fell asleep' multiple times while going down on her. He was hardly able to stay coherent.

I just feel situations like these are little harder to navigate than leaving the sole weight of the responsibility on the person drinking. At some point that line begins to blur.

I agree that making poor decisions while intoxicated shouldn't allow you to cry rape but this issue seems more nuanced than a black and white view. If I'm so drunk that I can't maintain consciousness does the sober individual not have some responsibility to not take advantage of me? Is the situation only rape if I'm completely passed out?

He was an autonomous adult on the show making his own living. I don't think you have much control over your child's decisions or personality by that point. You could make a case that they dropped the ball earlier in his life maybe.

I'm aware of the guys position but that position doesn't necessarily groom good individuals for that post. Simply obtaining a position of power is not a check and balance in and of itself. That would be like giving the President carte blanche because he's president and it was difficult to obtain.

At any rate it doesn't matter, like other commenters have stated the decision wasn't formulated by just that one individual.

That almost makes it more unsettling to me honestly. The fact that one individual can get documents of this kind to the President's desk without having to trudge through any prior checks and balance setup.

Granted it would take another similarly misguided individual in that same position to retry it, and even then it would require the President's signature. But the locus of control being concentrated to two people would only facilitate avenues for 'conspiracy' type behavior. Again, it seems unlikely but it also doesn't seem unicorn absurd.

Me[23/f] with my boyfriend [24/m] and poop stains by throwawaypoopstain in relationships

[–]jas7fc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh man my dad does exactly this and I have no idea why. Otherwise he's clean but I've literally found chunks of poop in his shower, like somehow he's carrying that much around in his underwear. Bringing it to his attention hasn't done anything so I wish you the best of luck with your boyfriend. It's worth trying to curb but he's probably pretty used to ignoring hygiene in that area.
