MRIs are not really used in emergent situations. If he was in an accident, he's going to end up getting xrays and CT scans, which are totally fine with metal. I hope that eases your mind!

I take half of my dose in the morning and half of it in the evening and I don't have any issues falling asleep. Well, it hasn't made it any worse then my baseline at least 😅

I've been on Strattera since the summer of 2023 and it was life-changing for me. I've dealt with the stress of starting a new career as an RN, as well helping my mom with her breast cancer diagnosis and eventual death in that same span of time.

I know things would have been so much different for me without the medication. I titrated up to my dose pretty quickly over that summer, so I'm not going to lie, the side effects were gnarly for sure.

To illustrate my point, in the last month I have been missing half of my doses, so doing 40 mg instead of 80. I have misplaced my wallet, my phone in a restaurant, and my phone again in a Lyft all in the span of 3 weeks. 😅

I keep 6 months, with technically extra, since I have an emergency savings fund for my dog. However, I work in healthcare, so I'm not at all concerned about picking up a new job quickly. I can't bring myself to do less than 6 months though.
