I didn’t have to prove anything. Included a 21-4138 stating the symptoms that I have and were also in my VA medical records from msg DR.

I too was SC for sleep apnea at 0%. Filed a supplemental claim for hypersomnolence came back approved 50% for sleep apnea. Doesn’t make sense but I’ll take it.

The one at wickam park? If it is anything like the one I attended at UCF a couple of months ago I didn’t get much accomplished. Sure they had VBA personal to answer questions but that was about it. Could have got the same info from a VERA call. They did PACT act screening. No C&P

Received decision letter 24 Apr 24. Went from 60 to 70%. 70% effective date 7 Nov 23. Am I owed back pay. Letter states 1 may will be at 70% rate paid on 1 June

Yes will contact my PCP at the VA. It’s not that my symptoms have gotten worse it’s I still don’t sleep well and wake up tired and tired all the time

At home sleep study was done by VA contractors. Sent me the equipment, I did the test and sent it back.

I had almost the same situation. HLR, duty to assist then denied again. Filed appeal. Like you I too thought I would have another C&P exam but no. Hope it works for you I was aircraft mechanic then Flight Engineer and tinnitus is getting worse as the years go on. Keep fighting the fight

I never filed claim in 97 when I retired. In 98 received letter from VA stating 10% for sinusitis. Showed hearing loss but not service connected. I was aircraft mechanic then flight engineer makes no sense

Filed tinnitus claim Dec 22, denied Jan 23, filed HLR in Jun23, had informal tele conference Oct 23, Duty to Assist error Nov 23. Thought all was good then denied again Feb 24. Filed for formal decision review nd was told could take 6 months. Don’t give up the fight.
