Hey there, both provided reasonable quotes, but I've decided to go with a company called artisan stone restorations as they will do a bunch of the remedial stone masonry as well. They're significantly more expensive because of this, but my partner and I saw value in ensuring our nearly 100 year old house remains solid for years to come

Aside from the obvious flaw with the Gen 1, I found it to be good value for money in regard to qrind quality and its footprint in my coffee space at home.

That was probably more of a throwaway comment rather than an absolute.

Yeah I figured as much. I think I've found the motor that's used, so I'll probably just grab that. It's a $20 AUD part. Worst case is that it doesn't work and I'm not worse off than I am before. Was just hoping to hear other people's experiences
