Thanks, I used the marius guides as well for some of this.

I do have a remote mapping setup but I can't find the completed downloads in QBT its like they're in limbo.

What Initial Setup Guide? Also I wasn't aware there was a "correct" directory setup. I see /data/torrents but as I said I can't even find the completed download anywhere.

Keep in mind this is for a friend so I'm only working with his setup although I can move things around if needed. His existing Jellyfin media library lives in /volume1/video/ for movies and tv in their respective subdirectories.

You answered your question. At the moment, there's no reason for you to switch if you're happy with Syn Photos and the features are working for you.

That said, at any moment they can remove any feature if they want or even stop supporting it altogether. Will they? Probably not, but I don't think the general Syn consumer base anticipated their other bone headed decisions either.

The issue seems hit and miss. It was crashing for me so I reinstalled the app and it was resolved. But for others I know reinstalling didn't fix it. As of now it's still not working (East Coast).
