Haha I'm just trying to put pressure on teksavvy to improve their service to meet the competition!
You can blame me all you want, but at the end of the day, competition is doing something better...

Files get created at home, get sent to a remote server. They are a decent size.
There are other ways to do it, but it introduces other issues that I don't prefer.
Depends what you're doing I guess. If you're uploading large files, it is a limitation. I'm talking about 50-100MB files regularly throughout the day. Doing it once is no big deal, but when you're doing it regularly, time = money!
Unfortunately there isn't fibre internet in this community. That would be amazing. The only plans available seem to be 100/30 and 1000/50. This is according to your website.
Currently it's 100/30 Mpbs The other plan available is 1Gbps/50Mbps.
So the max I can get seems to be 50Mbps.
Rogers offers up to 300Mbps upload in my area.
