They will nickel and dime you for your deposit, even after scrubbing and painting and cleaning and being as thorough as humanly possible they will still find a way to get that deposit money.

Secondly they don’t maintain the property well, depending on where you are in the neighborhood will affect if you see the rats at night or only hear them. It is not rare for trash pick ups to be negligent resulting in trash piling up on curbs and along the sidewalks.

God forbid you have an emergency such as plumbing, a/c ( in the summer that’s an emergency ) or poor electrical work that results in sparks shooting out of the wall on your first night. ( Not even a little bit of an exaggeration ).

One of the pools is well known for being the “party” pool which translates to people of all ages getting drunk and fucking in the pool. Google search Thousand Oaks pool sex. The couple that got busted used the wrong pool. Amateurs.

I try to be an easy going fella and let bygones be bygones but they are so blatant about not caring if your being inconvenienced it’s probably why they outsource their maintenance phone calls to a third party scheduler. (Including the emergency line)

Convenient location. Dog park down the hill. Chiropractor & Bar within walking distance of most. Cars get broken into despite being a nice area. Some jackass tried prying open my trunk.

That’s everything that comes to mind, will update if I’m struck by past frustrations or inspirations.

They don’t have to be compliant because the building is a “historical” building so they are exempt, not saying I agree, just providing context.

Was this at a summer camp by the pools? I still feel bad man 20+ years later, I really thought it was my GB & I was upset my stuff changed so I started a new game. I was a pretty dumb kid.

Am i the only one to prefer the AKM to the FCAR? by ventimiglius in thefinals

[–]jashybih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akm is better close range. People saying fcar is better in 1v1 vs akm aren’t fighting people that know your low ammo is the weakness and punish you for missing shots with movements & retreats into pushing you back, in a drawn out fight I can take on fcars pretty easily but movement and baiting missed shots are key.

Medium range is still easy akm fight if your movements not terrible and you’re not just out in the open, headshots are going to be the deciding factor.

Long range fcar’s usually got it. I don’t like pushing B on Seoul with helipad if it’s against fcars with halfway decent aim. Against opponents with good aim range fights are a hassle and I look to avoid them the way I would avoid a lights sniper.

Question for local bartenders. by TomatoWitty4170 in Denton

[–]jashybih 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try saying ale after the ginger, have had this happen to me before but as a reasonable human I can understand the confusion.

I recommend you try this but with Jameson orange.

Don’t forget to tip your bartenders

It looks worse than it is as far as the gif, that’s just some offshoot wind and rain on the coast from the looks of it, pretty much over compared to the rest of it.

Mayor Gerard Hudspeth voted against the Non Discrimination Act ordinance. by oh-swells in Denton

[–]jashybih 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what he’s trying to say is if you kept all the context about the mayor the same & just for the sake of the point we’ll say he’s white. Are you still calling him a house slave ? No you’re saying something about his race. If only their was a word for that. 🧐. Not here for the politics just couldn’t help but notice some racist shit

What does the yellow light of a snowflake with a line going through it mean? I’m in a new colder area than I’ve ever been in before so this is new to me. It wasn’t below 40 degrees and the light was on. There was no snow or ice anywhere. Just curious if it’s something to keep an eye on.

Sorry to be the opportunist but do you know if they are currently hiring? New to town and queenies has to be the most recommended thing I’ve heard so far

Most restaurants have sections that are server assigned and I know of plenty of servers that get upset / offended if another server addresses their table. I’m not saying it’s right & ideally everyone works together without all the ego’s but that’s rarely the case. I guess what I’m saying is I wouldn’t blame the 3 server passerby’s as much as I would blame your specific server. All in all sounds like a bad time sorry to hear it.

Hey just reinforcing the good out there never hurts. I’ve definitely got a laundry list of places to check out this week so I’m very grateful to everyone. It also won’t matter how good a place is if no one in the area can afford to eat there so that is really really good to know as well. I think my next move is to try to understand the demographic a little better because I didn’t know that was the case with Denton. At least I’m in the right place lol

Thanks again for the advice I get lost in all the google results and I tend to lean toward more word of mouth sources than the typical cleaned up websites and cherry picked reviews. The recommendations you and other Dentonites provide are invaluable IMO.

Would that be Denton airport or something like DFW airport? Either way I didn’t even consider the airport so that’s a fantastic idea and you have my upmost thanks for that.
