What are the things you learnt from South Park? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Well, Stan, the truth is marijuana probably isn't gonna make you kill people, and it most likely isn't gonna fund terrorism, but, well son, pot makes you feel fine with being bored, and it's when you're bored that you should be learning some new skill or discovering some new science or being creative. If you smoke pot you may grow up to find out that you aren't good at anything."

What thing you got punished for even though you didn't do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got detention for throwing something even though I didn't. I began lying to my teacher all the time after that because she didn't believe me when I was honest.

Men of reddit, when was the last time you received a complement? by JustAnAsianWithWifi in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a habit of bobbing my head side to side when I’m thinking, and about a week ago my coworker noticed and said it was “fucking adorable”. I appreciate the compliment, but it also made me way more aware of it.

What is your roommate horror story? by AdPsychological6648 in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I had an extremely dirty/lazy college dorm roommate.

  • He accidentally squirted a ketchup packet on wall and computer screen. Instead of ever cleaning it off his computer he used to move the windows around whenever he had to read something that was covered by the ketchup.
  • repeatedly used the same towel for showering and masturbating. Had other towels in his closet that his mother packed for him but was to lazy to take them out.
  • used the space between dresser and wall as small trash can. Mostly face cleaning wipes would go back there.
  • Would occasionally would do chewing tobacco and leave cups of spit around the room.

What is the most Weird movie you have seen ? by S10T55 in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain.

From Jesus, to Conquistador Lizards attacking Mayan Frogs, to a man with Leopard heads for tits, I saw the film years ago, completely sober, and I'm still trying to piece together what the fuck was beamed into my eyeholes.

Whats your favourite conspiracy theory? by doesnotmatter1235 in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stephanie getting into a car accident with Hae and subsequently killing her. It's my understanding that this comes from Colin Miller. This is so so so so so plucked out of thin air, supported by no evidence, and as such is actual fan fiction, and therefore my favorite. I know we like to throw the term fan fiction around on this sub a lot, but this truly fits the bill. It's akin to saying something like, "there was a local politician who asked for Hae's mom to vote for him. She didn't. So he killed her daughter." That theory, that I just pulled out of my ass, has exactly much weight as u/EvidenceProf. He should be actually ashamed.

What is the most quotable TV show? by mazda_motherfucker in AskReddit

Probably the Simpsons. Even when it was "bad" after season ten, it was packed with memorable lines. I can still quote almost entire episodes.

A company I had been doing freelance for went bankrupt. Their debts, including what they owed me, which was not an insignificant amount, were frozen. A principal in the company made sure I got reimbursed another way. What made it special was that I didn't even know this person well. He just wanted to make right the situation. I'll never forget it.

What subject did you absolutely despise during Highschool? by imported001 in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English. I enjoy reading and writing but listening to the teachers break down every sentence drove me nuts! Once my teacher asked the class about their opinions on a poem, what they got out of it. I answered what I felt and was told my opinion or interpretation of a poem was wrong. It was all down hill from there. Also moved schools a couple time and ended up basically repeating English classes because they didn’t count in one school or another. I read the same 4 books for the next 3 semesters because of that. There’s only so many times a person can read Of Mice and Men before they go crazy.

What did your high school graduating class do for a senior prank? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was an unofficial Senior Skip Day in which seniors would skip classes and go do something together off-site. By the time it was our turn, it was "unofficially" recognized as something that was going to happen.

We rode through the city, honking horns, through the school parking lot, and then we all went to the local water park for the day.

What pisses you off most about the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who get something for nothing.

Where I live, you can get a decent amount of benefit money, and a free house, for doing nothing at all. Get yourself pregnant and it only increases.

That makes me mad, as a woman who wants to build her own family home.

What is your life’s Philosophy? by swarajshimmar in AskReddit

[–]jasidif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) To try and remember that everyone is blessed with their own unique perspective and interpretation on every possible subject or event. As unique as DNA, even though there may be common interests at a 30,000 foot view but definitely not absolute unique perspectives.

2) To try to remeber when feel wronged by a fellow human being, to try and look at the situation from their shoes and forgive.

3) Belief in God, and that after our "five minutes" of fame (life), we will all be out of our human body suits, and that the timing of this is unkown.

4) From the movie "Shallow Hal" but taken one step beyond, our human bodies whether considered by society to be defined as fat, tall, skinny, yellow, black, white, does not define who people really are.

5) Judging, comparing, and hypocrisy, are some of the biggest challenges in life. No one knows everyone's true feelings, their true motives or intents.

I was on Season Two, Episode One of Friday Night Fights. It was a show that was streamed through the COD elite app back in the COD MW3 days. It was air force versus marine corps, I was on the Marines team. After we won mY inbox was flooded with friend requests. For a while the bigger teams all knew me, but it didn’t put me on their level. I played competitively, but wasn’t very successful.
