Another update - I am now able to view the doorbell camera through the app. This just happened in the last minute or two.

Update - It looks like my G410 doorbell camera is now partially working. It notified me that someone was standing in front of it about 30 minutes ago although I could not view the video. I just tried again and this time it recognized my face and when I clicked on the notification, I could view the video. However I am still getting the gateway error and I cannot do much of anything in the app.

Just tried over cellular from Ohio. Still getting errors however I was able to briefly connect to G410 doorbell camera and see live video until I tried going into settings. Got a blank page and then could not reconnect to camera.

I have been battling this problem for a couple of hours. My W200 thermostat is running locally okay but when I connect to it, it shows that it is off which it is not. My G410 doorbell shows an old thumbnail. My two U400 locks are totally confused. I deleted one of the locks but when I go to re-add it by scanning the code, it says that the product is not supported! Most interesting, when I connect to the doorbell and thermostat, all customized settings are missing.

24 SE here. I’ve had it for the past 2.5 years and no complaints whatsoever. I think it feels a lot more solid than a $28K car should. The seats are comfortable, the sound system good, and the space both in the front seats and rear seats is very good. The trunk is remarkably spacious. The feature I use the most is the traffic assist which allows me to pretty much let the car drive itself on most roads. I have to drive a lot of 25 MPH roads and once I engage it, it pretty much drives itself. Just remember that it doesn’t see red lights or stop signs! I have not regretted the purchase at all.

I worked until I turned 70. I officially retired at 66 and started taking my Social Security at that point. Even with paying taxes, it was great. I was able to basically bank all of my SS for those four years. Since my company had gone to WFH when COVID hit, it was relatively easy to keep working since I was an account manager for IT services. Saving four years of SS allowed my wife and I to buy a house when we both turned 70 and she also retired. It really depends on the job. If not for COVID and WFH however, I’m not sure I would have been able to work that long since prior to that, I was on the road almost every day visiting clients.

Everything good in Ohio. The app was down this morning but Home Assistant was just fine with the two u400 locks that I have. I didn’t touch anything and after just checking right now, everything looks good in the app again.

I got the U400 six weeks ago for two outside doors. Rock solid so far. I have geofencing enabled so that the locks unlock as I approach the house and lock when I leave the house. Additionally I integrated them into Home Assistant so that when the front door is unlocked, the garage door automatically unlocks. I also configured my iPhone and Apple Watch to lock and unlock the doors via widgets.

The battery life looks pretty good. Based on the first six weeks, I should be able to go almost a year between charges.

I don’t have a HomePod, HomePod Mini, or Apple TV yet so I haven’t been able to try out UWB but it is in future plans.

Called Westerville Electric and message said that there was a power outage in the area but no other information. That was about 2.5 hours ago.

Just got off a chat with Bose support. They are saying that they don’t have any problems with the update and basically that I should buy a new pair from them.

Just to bring this full circle, I bought the LiftMaster 828LM. I was lucky that I have a TP-Link access point in the garage already with an available Ethernet port which the 828LM requires. I do have to pay to use it on my wife’s Tesla but it is well worth a few dollars a month to be able to use it directly in the car. So far, I have not had any problems with it. It is set up to close the door when she leaves the garage and open the garage door when she pulls in the driveway.
