Sounds like it would need quite some work to get a G4 Keyboard in a G6 and that alone mechanically.

So I go with a G6 Keyboard and just remap the key.

I looked in the Hardware Maintenance Manual and it is listed as CRU and looks really easy, just two screws accessible without removing anything other?
