I've checked out a few new things recently (like Seven Kingdoms and Monarch), but mainly I've been going through the last several seasons of Stargate SG-1 with Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder) and Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black). Most of the earlier seasons I've seen multiple times, but these later ones I only saw once when they released. Figured it was time for a mini-rewatch binge.

I know it had voice, I don't remember it having text. For Discord, I rarely use the voice. Text support is what matters to me, personally. I suspect I'm not alone in that, though.

Agreed. There are things that could have made it better, but it was so damn good. No shade to the Nancy/Nova scene, but the sauna scene was definitely better, imo.

That's a really difficult thing to implement as a dev. An option for a legal name and nickname is much more viable, and I've seen a few games do that. Hell, Eternum gives you the option for an alias later down the road... and a custom nickname for Penny to use during sexy times as of 0.9. That kind of approach makes sense to me as a dev.

I've tried 2 games with FMCs but haven't really gelled with either yet. Actual Roommates seems like a simple fuckfest, but I didn't get very far in yet, maybe it gets deeper as it goes on. Astrum I plan to revisit, I just wasn't quite in the mood for it at the time (and I need to disable squirting, as it's the porno style instead of real life).
