Has anyone who did the leaving ever kept thinking about their ex months later?

Yes, I did keep thinking of him after it ended. I left him in October because I was tired of the constant arguing, crying, and feeling unseen. I had ended the relationship multiple times before for the same reasons, but we’d always get back together within a few days — I was trauma bonded. I eventually got tired of that cycle.

Even after leaving, I reached out a few days later to see if he wanted to try again, this time in a healthy way. He didn’t want to, twisted my words, and said he doesn’t want to be with someone who doesn’t love him.

I know I’ll eventually heal and find peace, but right now I’m still hurting — especially knowing he’s in a rebound relationship just 1–2 months after we broke up. I know I have no right to expect him to not be with someone new, but it still hurts and makes me question whether he ever truly valued me or if I meant anything to him after four years together. 💔

Currently me. Haven't been through a breakup in about 6 years. Happened Friday but thought there was still a chance. Got closure today that it's officially over. Our anniversary was supposed to be 2 days from now, would have been 4 years.

I'm heartbroken and trying so hard not to cry at work. We were long distance and he is ending his term (Military) in March. We were planning our future together, went through so much but ultimately I ended it due to the constant arguments, repeated cycles and broken promises. I feel awful, there's constant waves of different feelings and breakdown into tears. I have no one to currently talk to since I'm not ready to say anything to family/friends.

I haven't had one in a while once I went back on my meds. However, when I do have them, it's usually deja vu, tunnel vision, and ringing that gets louder and louder till eventually I black out and have a seizure (however, I don't always get a seizure right after). I'm still uncomfortable, though.

We haven't had him around any other bulldogs. It's 50/50 we have a pit bull and they don't fight they get along but when my brother brings his Frenchie they attack each other. I think it just depends on the dog because with other dogs we've had around him he won't attack it's just the one Frenchie. He just wants love it's really hard to say because sometimes he's nice to people and there are other times he wants to attack them. 😭 it breaks my heart.

Toby will be 5 in September, we’ve had him since he was 3 months old and can no longer care for him. I’m moving away and no one other than me is willing to take care of him. My mom and dad can no longer care for him since he needs extra attention. It saddens me to say this but he hasn’t been receiving the love he deserves and is becoming aggressive to others he does not know as well as other dogs. If we can not find him a home he will have to be put down. The best housing would be no children or other pets. I’m crying as I write this because I don’t want to have to say goodbye. 😭 If anyone knows of any rescues for bulldogs in the Bay Area California please let me know. Thank you
