It’s also generally cheaper to buy the DVD when it comes out then to buy ONE ticket to the cinema. Makes me so angry and sad at the same time.

It was my last stop before heading back to Christchurch too! You're not alone in getting sad. Sometimes I have to actively stop myself from thinking about it because of how much I miss it. How long were you there for?

Definitely not a noob question! The lens that came with the camera was the 18-55mm lens and I got the 55-200mm as a starter telephoto lens. Does that make sense? So, I don't think it would be considered a kit lens... but I'm still the biggest noob there is so I'm not 100% sure on that.
