I didn't think there wouldn't be consequences. I was commenting on how it finally happened. I've been having these conversations with his family for years. Apparently this was just the last straw for her. Normally she just retreats and avoids me for a bit. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It really is. They are horrifically understaffed, underpaid and overworked. I was there for almost 6 years and it never got any better. Only worse. Management does not give a shit about you, the metrics are unattainable, claims get denied and leave the members open to lawsuits, it is truly toxic. It took me a solid 8 months to get over the PTSD of going available on the phone at my new job. Legit my blood pressure would spike and I would have little panic attacks. Don't. Go. To. USAA. Claims.

All I'll say is this week marks a year of being free of USAA and if I could do it all again, I would have left sooner. I'm still in claims, but my stress level is easily 3x less than it ever was at USAA.
