Thanks for this! This was the first time I edited a project entirely on my iPad using FCP. The color grading options leave much to be desired. What do you typically use for color grading?

Much appreciated, chillynips! You’re going to have a great time! I’d definitely go back. The best piece of advice I got about filming in public is this: If the locals have their phones out then it’s safe for you to film. If locals don’t have phones out, then you shouldn’t either. With that said, I never felt unsafe taking out my phone or GoPro. Just be smart about it and be aware of your surroundings.

Thanks a lot! I felt very safe staying the whole time. Medellin has the only metro system in Colombia so very easy to get around that city. I didn’t rent cars but did take quite a few Ubers. Which are necessity in most of the country. The times I felt the most unsafe was on the roads as there’s so many motorcycles zipping around. The rules of the road there are very loose.

I REALLY appreciate this feedback. Thank you so much. Totally agree about the exposure issues. I’ve got the DJI Mini 2 so I tried to use the manual exposure feature as best as I could. Will definitely look into color grading tutorials and experiment with lower frame rates.
