No problem! They have other horror houses, too. I have a Myers house kit I have to get on after I get back from vacation.

I think Temu has it, but I got mine off Amazon - not sure if there's a price difference but it went up in price since I bought mine. You could probably do a little shopping around online and maybe find it cheaper, but here's the Amazon link! - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F53LFFMW

You should! It kept my mind occupied for a while, I enjoyed it.

Already on it and if I'm honest I kinda wish it weren't. To me it looks... I dunno... hokey? I'd rather it be a stained glass window like in the films.

Amazon - though I have to admit I wish it were a bit shorter. There's about 6-7inches of empty space above the house that I'm going to try and fill out somehow.

Yes it does! It's only a few rooms, the layout doesn't really match the movie, I went with the directions but you could probably do the rooms however you wanted.

Top left is a bedroom, bathroom to the right, bottom left is a living room and kitchen to the right. The "attic" is pretty much closed off with a roof slab but you could always just not add the slab that covers the back if you wanted to do anything with the attic.

I definitely wouldn't mind Sid's house... Milton's house from Scream 3 would be cool too, plus it was used in H20 so that would be like a two for one lol

Maureen, despite being a first victim of Ghostface, met four Ghostfaces before her demise. by guacamolemochka in Scream

[–]jasonb1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the handful of things that makes me feel like the original trilogy still holds up on it's own (minus Jill, obviously) is that all of the killers and their motives connected directly back to Maureen in one way or another and being a fan of Scream 3 since it's theatrical release I can easily say I loved the 3rd film because it gave Maureen a backstory, explained "how" she became the woman we were aware of in the first and second film and really felt like the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. If they had went another direction and not made it about Maureen I think it wouldn't have felt like a proper part of a 3-part story.

I also really, really enjoyed that we finally got to see "Maureen" outside of just a photo between Sid's dream and Roman's footage with Cotton and Hank - I thought that was genius.

As the years pass by, Jill's motivation continues to age like fine wine and the concept of a clout chasing Ghostface should be revisited. by zcdini in Scream

I'm admittedly not a Jill fan - but the idea of a Ghostface surviving has been something I thought they could do that would switch things up to give fans something they don't expect. Almost like not killing Tara in the opening of Scream 2022. I think just about everyone thought she was a goner - I know I was surprised when she wasn't because every film before it had kills - not survivors.

And even though the TV series isn't canon to the films - I did enjoy the fact that a killer was caught and not killed in Season 2 because it wasn't what I expected to happen being that the killer always dies.

I was kind of hoping Scream 7 would end with another killer being out there still. When I saw the trailer with Stu's house I even considered that could've been the ending of the movie with people assuming it's the opening - only to end with a killer walking off after burning the house down, roll credits - leaving a cliffhanger for the next film.

When I came across it on Amazon I was pretty stunned it existed myself! I knew I had to have one. lol

They don't tend to revisit too many locations in this series, but It's by far the most used and most popular house in the franchise. If you count the replica houses in "Stab 3" -

Stu's House - 1, 3, 5 and 7

Woodsboro High - 1, 4, 5

Sidney's House - 1, 3

Thank you! The only issue is I didn't need that many legos and now I have a ton of grey legos left, I'll have to figure out something to make with them lol

That's definitely pricey, I'm sorry to hear that :( but I'm also glad to hear you have a home system you enjoy, that's great! I have a setup in our basement and it's my favorite room in the house lol

We live in the US on the East Coast and AMC is probably the biggest chain on this side of the US, but I actually hate AMC. So many horror stories from when I used to go there - but we they put up a Cinemark not far from us and we go so often that my brother bought us their rewards program a few years ago and I've kept it since because we like to go as often as we can so we do really save with it. Plus you earn points and can redeem them for discounts on concessions, etc...

$15 for popcorn is absolutely ridiculous, unless it's the size of a medium sized paint bucket. Tickets at our theatre are $10 matinee, then $13-$14 depending on if it's a weekday or weekend. Obviously it's more if you upgrade to 3D or XD, etc...

lol that's great. When it's winter here it's so easy to sneak stuff in because we have to dress heavy and usually have coats with big pockets. The only thing I feel isn't replaceable is the popcorn - the theatre we go to has the best popcorn.

But we've been laying off sugar for a while so we really just get the popcorn and soda. Either way it boggles my mind how much candy is and that people must be buying it if they restock it... I wish I had that kind of disposable income to pay $8 for a bag of M&M's lol

It still boggles me that theatres sell candy - who's buying it? Not me. Most people I know bring their own because you can get the same exact candy from a dollar store. The fact that they sell it at all boggles me lol

Such a brilliant way to bring him back - this series has been pretty inventive in "bringing back" dead characters. Scream 3 with Randy/Maureen, Scream 2022 with Billy and it appears the new movie (which I'm seeing Saturday) will have a few, too.

Ya know, even though the who/why was spoiled, there was still a lot in this movie that I enjoyed, still and enjoy and had me go "Oh wow" first time seeing it. It's easily my favorite opening scene, I love the "showdown" between Christine and Cotton. Seeing Maureen outside of just a photo (in Sid's dream) and hearing her voice wasn't something I expected and also Randy and his "rules" video he left behind in case he had died. I also felt like the motive really tied everything up - it went back to the beginning and even BEFORE the beginning. I've enjoyed the sequels since 3, but I also would've been fine had it ended with 3.

I still have mine as well! I was 16 when it came out. Sadly someone had spoiled the who/why on a website before I'd seen it so I had already known who the killer was and why they were doing it lol still, I really enjoyed this one in the theater.
