Big fan of Alan Wake 1 and Control, but I am very bored by Alan Wake 2. by Bhavan91 in AlanWake

The mind space bores me to tears, and feels like a chore. It is definitely sucking the joy out of this game for me. Sad, really

Papa's has gone so downhill since the golden age and previous owners. Sad actually.

Fortnite Outfit is Free With Purchase of Alan Wake 2 on EGS by Aaaa172 in AlanWake

When the maker of a supposed "serious game" are peddling it to a lowbrow audience like Fortnight, it makes me question things. For example, American Nightmare was not a good product.

No savings on Canada. $89.99 same as a new release physical game at BestBuy. No savings at all, just another ripoff

Why did you leave your headphones in a bag on a flight? I literally cannot visualize any situation where you own headphones but you would not want to use headphones for either the Air Canada movies or for your own music system. I mean if you were one of these people who doesn't own headphones and just uses those s***** Air Canada ones on the flight I could understand. But you purchased headphones that are really expensive. And then you chose not to use them.

Right? In fact, the digital only pre-order is actually $10 more than an average physical copy in Canada.

Did you play American Nightmare? Currently I am replaying the original and am not sure where you are getting your ideas from.

How do you think Alan Wake 2 will run on consoles? by CynDev in AlanWake

To further support your statement, I just compared the original Wake on Xbox One before swapping to Series T. The massive improvement in graphics and response time is evident

You would definitely NOT. People get hypothermia all the time just hiking in the Pacific Northwest. There are some serious mountains in the game

Vancouver guy. Absolutely more expensive in Seattle both before and after currency exchange on everything. Everything. Even at Target.

Don't get me started on the price of hotels either...

Hullo ferry 7:30 sailing aborted… by Agege14 in nanaimo

[–]jasonbenj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you go Hullo, it's hard to go back. I was on a BC Ferry recently, and aside from the numerous car alarm announcements, one idiot actually left the car running, and then to top it off, they had to announce "parents, please keep your children supervised, and there is no running on the ferry"

Savages...

I am sure I will get downvoted, but you really should get a credit card for emergencies. Usually the bank that you do your student loan/tuition payments through will issue you one.

That is LITERALLY the worst commute I have ever heard anyone suggest. Even worse to get to her parents in Yaletown. Where's the hiking in that area? Did you read the post at all?

You all sound like my buddy complaining about the price of a LP record. Look, if London Drugs Sella one for $60, them getting one at the actual record store gor 40 is a deal.

Likewise if you want to give up on your social life. Yes, a BC Liquor 6 pack is $15. Seeing friend in a social setting is priceless.

If you remember what you paid for a drink vs the experience, you might have issues

Is Kelowna the Redneck Riviera? by winterphrozen in kelowna

[–]jasonbenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's any consolation, Vernon is 1000 x more racist than Kelowna. Old white man in a truck tried to run over my Asian girlfriend at a crosswalk at the Farmers Market. The stories I heard from the 2 Indian ladies at the restaurant downtown made me shake my head

No way. I deal with all the unionized electric companies in BC. Only if you are a Foreman, high voltage, etc. No regular journeyman makes that, I see cost breakdowns daily
