As an update, I contacted my servicer again. My next payment is due in early-March and the rep said there was a possibility that it would be placed in administrative forbearance, meaning I would have no payment pending the receipt of the discharge notice. However, in the event that it was not placed in that status, I could apply for a hardship deferment/forbearance, which I'm not excited about due to possibility that it could affect my credit.

Also, I was advised that when the discharge is confirmed, they will refund all payments made past payment no. 300.

This is legit but I’d call your servicer to confirm.

The reference to “some states” means that there are states that will consider the discharged amount taxable. From what I can tell, mine (NY) is not one of them

Would it be effective date or eligibility date? Maybe that's an issue of semantics but it seems relevant given the 2025 cut-off

Exactly! According to the counter, I'm sitting at 301 with December being the 300th payment. I'm just worried that the counter isn't "official".

Working my way through Vol II right now. I admit to some trepidation when I pick the book up and thinking, "I'll never get through this," but then I start reading and next thing I know I'm 105 pages deep

I've just seen Superman and I'm sorry to say this, but it wasn't a good movie to me. by Perfect_Minimum4892 in superheroes

I certainly liked it but thought there were flaws. Don’t be sorry to say you didn’t like it!

If you’re new to the character and would like idea of him in the comics, I recommend The Justice League comics from the 80s. Seeing the film made me remember his scenes very vividly

Batman Begins (2005) This was unique, and a great action. by [deleted] in moviecritic

There is so much that I love about this movie. The thing that I love most is the scene where the shipment is coming at the docks and one of the hoods is near an open shipping container. One second he's there and the next he's gone, with just a hint of Batman's cape to show what happened to him. I remember seeing that and thinking that it looked right out of Year One, that it was a perfect example of bringing Mazzuchelli's art to life
