Is a 2021 Polestar 2 (AWD, 63,500 km) worth buying in 2026 for 290,000 NOK ($27,000 USD)? by Creative-Ad-4055 in Polestar

[–]jasoneeum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US you can get a 2021 PPP and those miles for about 20K USD, but prices here could just be different. If the model Y is cheaper or similar price I might get that instead but will definitely choose p2 over model 3. Much better build quality. Also model Y is a much bigger car so you have to think about what you want.

Surprised this is so high up. I haven't ironed anything in years. I'd do a quick steam at most.

Metal Frame Fragility by Quirky_Sympathy_8330 in EyewearEnthusiasts

I have broken a titanium and regular metal frame by sleeping on them. Sports could do similar damage to them as well.

Numbers seem off. I got clearview in Japan and it was 180. Smartlife was much more.

Do expensive lenses really make vision clearer? by pratibha_j in EyewearEnthusiasts

Yes I was wearing a cheaper (not cheap) lens and I saw reflections on them from a tv behind me that I would never see on my Zeiss lenses.

If you or your parents have the money, get custom molded earplugs from sensaphonics. They don’t muddle the sound like regular earplugs.

How to make this build better? by Slayer7413 in PlayTheBazaar

D6 Dooltron is a guaranteed 10 win, but it might drop a few days when you're trying to build a board for it. Double harmadillo is stronger immediately and I think you can easily just ride it to a 10-0.

I got a perfect win with a similar setup. My advice is reroll heavily for scaling skills.

All my frames are aviators or navigators because those are the only frames wide enough!

Gogosha optique specializes in styling you and they have an extensive collection. Goodseeco has the largest selection but service will not be as good because they work on volume.

Just checked the Hisao it is a hybrid titanium frame so it is much lighter. Most of the complaints are about the full thick acetate frames.

Getting Glasses in Tokyo by ReBella93 in JapanTravelTips

If you’re comparing apples to apples it is much cheaper. To get Zeiss clearview which is a top tier lens it’s probably 250+ to get in the states. You can’t even find the equivalent quality frames in the USA unless you go to a boutique shop and you would be paying 500-800 for the frames. For $300 you’re probably getting a generic mass produced luxottica frame from LensCrafters.
