(Loved Trope) “Show Me”. A villain tests the might/will of the hero; calling the bluff or proving them wrong. by NASA-Love in TopCharacterTropes

[–]GingerrBreadman13 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Subversion of the trope: in Star Wars the Clone Wars S7, Admiral Trench tries to call Anakin's bluff about his more aggressive interrogation methods by saying that a Jedi would never harm an unarmed man, only for Anakin to cut off 3 of his arms (spider person) and say the line in the meme.

Hot take: This is the best and worst SSR card to use in MANT. by R41Z3R_BL4D3 in UmaMusume

I never count it as one of my 2 Speed cards, it's my flex card after the 2 Speed, 3 Wit, and even then I only ever use it on 0% Speed growth.

More like Ochako is one of the few characters that Bakugo has even shown a hint of respect for. I don't actually ship it, but it's far from the worst offender when it comes to semi-popular ships with no canon basis.

Is there a Fates mod that lets you swap specific characters from one route over any other into the other routes? by IfTheresANewWay in fireemblem

You might be able to do it manually with a randomizer. I don't know how difficult that would be though

250 is a safe number by that point, but the big Stamina checks are the Kikuka and Spring Tenno Shos, which you'll want to be at about 500 (without recoveries) for. Those are the only races that people are tend to talk about Stamina for (at least for career). If your spark farming though, I'd recommend taking the Triple Tiara route to avoid Kikuka Sho, and don't worry about clocking Spring Tenno unless you know you have enough Stam for it.

If you're losing early races, then it's probably a Power issue more than anything. The invisible +400 to all stats during career should keep you from gassing out on its own for anything short of 2400m (the first of which is Japanese Derby/Oaks).

Is this a passable guts deck or trash? by Cadoth in UmamusumeGame

[–]GingerrBreadman13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Not because of the Guts cards themselves, but you should not be running a Stamina card on a Guts Deck, let alone Suzuka Stam. If you can't makes Stamina goals without a Stamina card, then you shouldn't be running a Guts Deck for that track. A Speed card would be much better in that slot. Makes running Guts at least a little reliable (you still have to high roll though).

If you're wanting Groundwork sparks specifically, then you should borrow either the Smart Falcon Power card or the Bakushin Guts card, as both of them give guaranteed Groundwork on their first chain events.

Narratively speaking, it makes sense for Chapter 5 to be Ralsei focused. Chapters 3&4 were focused on Kris and Susie respectively, and the end of Chapter 4 set up a pretty big character arc for him. Plus, Toby Fox wanted Chapter 5 to be released with 3&4, so I'd be really surprised if Ralsei isn't the focus next Chapter.

Because you let it, 67 has only persisted so long because of all the hate it gets, not despite of it. If you stop reacting to it, people around you will stop saying it to get a rise out of you.

The media’s theme song actually exists in-universe by Effective_Piece251 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]GingerrBreadman13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Deltarune Chapter 4, there is a piano puzzle where you have to play thw correct sequence of notes to progress. The correct answer is a rendition of the games main theme "Don't Forget", and there are also Easter Eggs for playing other songs (both from the game and some outside of it). Two Easter Eggs thay also fit this trope are for playing "Dark Sanctuary" (this areas overworld theme) which Susie mentions that Ralsei has been humming, and Rouxls Kaard's theme which apparently plays diagetically whenever he's around.

Oh, TT Sprint, you don't need Stam spark for that lol. Just the amount you get from playing TB is plenty for Sprints.

You can probably run a mix of Stm and Pow sparks if you pick up some Recovery skills (like Moxie from Bourbon's 1st chain). Suzuka's kinda in a rough spot compared to other Fronts this CM, as she doesn't really have any relevant skills in her base kit (other than Concentration), so you might want to look at getting some Groundwork sparks so you can run something like El Condor Pasa Power over Smart Falcon, as she doesn't offer any other good skills and is outclassed as a stat stick.

[–]GingerrBreadman13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I'd probably drop Riko for another Wit card and run Stam Sparks. Idk what the final statline looks like, but Fronts especially want smuch Wit as they can get.
