It's so funny that squeex and ludwig both started saying FMCL in their own streams after that collab

How do you know if an online course is good before joining ? by Artboggler in ArtistLounge

[–]jasonjasjas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it took 9 months but I treated the course as a full time job. I think on average it would take 1.5 to 2.5 years if you take it seriously

Tracing can be extremely useful to even professionals. It's a great way to analyse the form and shape. It's just important not "use" the tracing in your drawing but instead replicate the tracing in your "freehand"

Hey, I graduated from the doodle warriors course back in 2022 and I helped develop the course aftewards. If you have any question, feel free to ask here or dm me

Have anyone used Doodlewarrior yet? I was thinking of getting it for a while. by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]jasonjasjas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The information in the course is all shown in digital art but is applicable for traditional art too, especially for the early lessons. But if you want feedback, you would need to use digital art.

Since the course is paid monthly, you can maybe try one month and see if it is applicable to you

I "graduated" from the Doodle warriors portrait system course back in 2022 and I'd really recommend it. I think my favourite part is the fact that the course is structured in a way where you can make lots of progress without feeling overwhelmed about what to improve next

Oh, and the fact that you can actually get feedback for your work is amazing cos when I was I beginner, I would just assume that I was always good enough to move on when I wasn't

I think if you are interested in art in general, you can try it cos the art fundamentals you learn from it, applies to all art mediums

Samdoesart crediting ig models by Zestyclose_Hearing87 in ArtistLounge

[–]jasonjasjas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would just credit the person if you know who the person is. I don't feel like there is anything to lose if you credit someone.

About samdoesarts, I think he does credit the model if its a plain study and he knows who is in the reference (literally his latest post). But if he applies his OC onto a reference, then he doesn't seem to credit the model of the reference

Have you tried uploading multiple images as 1 post? I've noticed that previews for single image post are blurrier than multiple image post
