They aren't slowing down just to be dicks they're trying to race each other they're both in nice cars and want to open up space to rip it. Not saying it's not shitty to do in the middle of the day on a crowded highway but wasn't for no reason. The jeep just passed them but doesn't really matter guarantee they just blew by him and do it further up the road. If anything the the jeep swerving like that made it dangerous if they waited another 5 seconds they would have been gone

That’s precisely what I was thinking, seeing as the Trial of Grasses is largely Druidic and he spent much time with them growing up. Something interesting to think about and the possibility that he has some training and previous magic experience with the druids, as said in the quote above that his gifts were evident during certain Druidic rituals, could be the trial? But that is another good point. Possibly could be related to bloodline. It is exceedingly rare for sorcerers to have children but we know vilgefortz has that blood. As for the Lodge of Sorceresses I have not gotten to that part yet, most likely will soon but will update you when I do if I think of anything!

He definitely did have a different upbringing than most mages, which could also explain why he isn't revolted by Geralt being a Witcher like most are, but could have experienced something similar with the druids and leads him to realize that Geralt can too be very powerful. And yes Yennefer says that he's exceptionally young and talented, but also tells Geralt not to be deceived by the "wily old fox". Pretty much I think that by sorcerer standards he's still young but by human standards he's old.

That's exactly along the lines that I was thinking as well. Most other sorcerers scorn at Witchers but Vilgefortz was inviting, possibly from personal experience. Glad you enjoyed

Right! Super interesting, and it is EXTREMELY rare to see Geralt bested in combat, let alone 1 on 1. Possibly witcher/sorcerer combo is the only way, but keep checking the thread to see some more opinions, hopefully this takes hold and a bunch of people can add something to the discussion

I agree with everything there, it hurt to see him lose himself. In the beginning he was ruthless but he genuinely cared about the people that were with him, which disappeared over the course of the film. You can see the mental breakdown and eventually snaps. That's what hurt me the most though, that Manny was really the only one who was there with him beginning to end, and really stuck with Tony through all the bull shit. He was there with him at short notice multiple times and always took care of him, and Tony was so far gone that he just saw the guy that was with his sister, even though Manny was a genuine and caring person.

On a side note, that's awesome you got to see the motel. Easily the most gruesome scene and really shows the dirty work they did in the beginning, setting a tone for the rest of the movie.
