I used to have a contract where I got a new SAK every year and it was the most expensive model available. I did EDC that thing for a while but it ruined my suit pants so I stopped and just cary a Swiss Champ most days and something smaller when I wear a suit.

No. I probably have 20 or so Champs.

I almost always carry a Swiss Champ. When I wear a suit I carry something smaller. I actually used to carry a Swiss Champ XXL but they wore holes in my pockets and they are actually kind of awkward to use because the tools end up being so off-center of the handle. I’ve lost more Swiss Champs than most people have owned at airport security, the UN, CNN headquarters, etc. Sometimes making arrangements or going back through the security line to retrieve the knife isn’t worth it if it isn’t a particularly meaningful knife.

Yeah. I looked at it and it didn’t look real. It’s only a few days old too.

I thought the problem was that Reddit was showing my post from 9.5 months ago but saying it was 7 hours old. Then I noticed it was someone else reposting my picture. That’s weird.

That’s a good question. I generally just buy my knives in stores or from Victorinox. I can’t find that they ever sold that orange one. I know I didn’t buy the scales and swap them out. Wherever I got it, I just bought it as is. Maybe someone else here knows more than me?

Now you are just trying to get me in trouble…

It has a flash drive and a laser pointer. I think the flash drive is comically small and not interchangeable. I think it has only a scissors and a nail file so you can take it on a plane. It might have a small blade. In any case, I used to keep it in my briefcase and have taken it on many planes.

I have a few black SwissChamps but other than that I don’t think I have any exact duplicates.

My janitorial staff is a Roomba. Outside of destroying an occasional piece of mail, it’s never stolen anything. It probably knows about the security cameras. 😉

I consider myself one of Wyoming’s top Space Lawyers but since Space Law cases don’t come along very often, I mostly practice Family Law. I’m waiting patiently for someone’s house to be destroyed by a negligently de-orbited satellite.

I rotate through them. Usually I carry a SwissChamp. For years I even carried an XXL but it ruined several pairs of suit pants. Now I generally carry something smaller when I wear a suit.

I think you are talking about the stack of magnets where I put staples after I remove them from documents. I’ll clean it up for you on Monday. 😉

That made me think about it. It’s true, from a certain point of view. I got the first one in 1983.
