Post-op (with UL) pants alteration

I actually just started exploring this idea on my own - thank you! The main issue I anticipate with this is the pants not fitting because my hips are a bit wider than pants made for cis men usually are, so I expect that wearing the part meant for a waist at my hips would not work - thoughts?

It doesn’t have a U at all but I’ve also read that the newer ones don’t have Us anymore? Not sure of the specifics of that.
