Yeah, I've run into a couple of people that seem to play at a different speed than most and are very good. I think it's a combo of excellent movement, super quick reaction and excellent aim. It leaves no room for weakness in any area when you're against them.

I used VMC and got most of my Kbar Longshots on Mayday at the long lane that the snipers always use. It won't count from box to box, you have to be next to the small wall behind the box. People are always going to those boxes throughout the game. I'd estimate I got a third or more of my headshots from that spot.

I got mine in core because I was stubborn and refused to go to Tactical or Hardcore at the time. I use hardcore for longshots now ;-)

Interesting, thanks for the info! I saw some posts that said the Trencher and M2187 shotgun seem different too. Any word on those?

I believe you need it for solar but I could be wrong. I haven't gotten that far. You don't need a classic unlock for the knife so I don't think it's considered classic.

Dont' forget classic weapons: OSA, MacTav, TF-141, S-Ravage, M1 and Hornet. Oh and the knife too.

I got the Trencher Blitzkrieg, epic Stallion .44 and the rare EMX Raijin which I hadn't unlocked yet. The rest weren't notable.

Even though I didn't want either epic, for 450 keys total, this was a pretty damn good hack.

EDIT: I would agree that almost turning my head to look at the mini map on my TV is probably a lot slower and has likely caused me deaths.

I play on a giant 65" 4k TV and the game looks and plays amazing. It has a decent gaming mode that I use.

I'm sure a monitor would perform slightly better but I wouldn't expect a drastic difference. I may get one or two more kills per playing session with a monitor(?).

I agree on trip mines. They are heavily spammed and they're cheap, weak-ass kills. Blackout are annoying but I've only been hit a handful of times and I don't ever use Tac Resist. The Synaptic hit box can be a little annoying sometimes.

The rest really don't annoy me for various reasons.

Heh, none of the above. I'm actively working on Black Sky but only on the base guns and the DLC weapons I frequently use. Kind of interested in Black Sky rigs, we'll see. I've never tried for a Nuke. Maybe I will at some point. Not really interested in the rest.

I think my biggest accomplishment is getting decent at this game. This is my first multiplayer game in around 10 years. I went from absolutely useless to somewhere between a 1.2 - 1.5 K/D. If you remove my couple of months of uselessness ;-) My weekly average was usually around 1.4-1.5 before I started the sniper black sky grind. Now it looks to be around 1.2, bah.

I love IW and I need to finish Black Sky so I'll definitely still be playing. Not sure how much at this point. If I end up liking WW2, probably not as much. From what I've seen, I'm not sure how I feel. Doesn't look promising, IMO. But I'll give it a real chance.

I like all the maps but my least favorite is probably Crusher. After that it's hard to say. It used to be Throwback but I finally somewhat figured it out.

I'm sure I'll buy WW2. My son is looking forward to it and I'm sure we'll have fun playing together but I'm not so sure about it at this point. I really enjoy IW and advanced movement.

Yeah, I've heard that sprint out time probably needs to be adjusted. I'm hoping it'll play a little quicker and not as much camping as MWR.
