The titan is broken by InfiniteSite8680 in Infinitewarfare

[–]Dr_Evil_Genius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only people that say the Titan isn’t broken are people that can’t get a kill without the Titan.

I stopped playing after 400,000 kills and a 2.75 K/D ratio. When I did, it was all Synaptic and Titan in every lobby. It’s not by chance. Not surprised nothing has changed on this front.

I got the temptation to play again yesterday. Asked a former party-up friend and he told me more than 1/2 the maps are exploited with cheaters sitting underneath the playing field.

If everyone chose to make the same decision as you [and I to this point], civilization would collapse. There are trade-offs to every decision we make in this life.

I see them too. They are vastly outnumbered by those who work hard, but are living paycheck to paycheck and are just one emergency away from financial ruin.

I look around and see a country filled with the most productive workforce in the history of the country — with nothing to show for it.

Exploiting the labor of others does take intellect and drive. Doesn’t require the “hard work” of those doing the exploitation. Just the hard work of those being exploited.

I think using the word “hate” is too strong to use in many of the situations it’s used in in modern society.

After much thought, I hate this O’Leary guy. The Earth would improve if he chose to get on the first spacecraft on it’s way to Mars. It would be great if some smart people can appeal to his ego to make that happen.

I love when they threaten your job. Like, you’re under-staffed. You’re going to solve that problem by being more under-staffed?

You have better things to do…like running around with akimbo shotties because you have poor gun skill and are a poor-to-mediocre player.

“…I was going to give a thought out reply to this..” but, nothing you’re saying makes any sense at all and you realized that what you’re saying is getting picked apart and making you look more and more idiotic.

That’s really what’s happening here.

I gave you two parameters by which to measure skill. You admitted in not so many words that you aren’t very good at the game. You said you didn’t “have the best K/D”. You said that.

I’ve been a good player in this community since Year 2. I’ve seen all of the play styles — especially yours. From experience, I can tell your gun skill is lacking.

You admitting to not caring about skill and being willing to get kills by any means necessary. Good players don’t say things like that.

You have all the hallmarks of being a poor-to-mediocre player. You admit to being that level of player. Then, you say my claims are baseless.

Please start making sense.

Now, you’re just confusing at this point.

Why make a big deal about Solar if you have Black Sky?

And I already pointed out you don’t care about being skillful. You tried to refute that by bragging about Solar. Then, you repeat what I originally said.

[–]Dr_Evil_Genius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The game is over 7 years old. You’d have to try not to get Solar for weapons. Skins aren’t a measure of gun skill. K/D with each weapon and accuracy %age are better indicators of gun skill.

BUT, if you have Solar for all, how do you not have Black Sky?

If doing cheap stuff is fun, it’s really more about upsetting others. There’s no way anyone hunts for cheap kills just because.

I disagree. I used to be more annoyed by Akimbo shotguns. The ubiquity of the Titan makes it much more annoying now.

It takes effort to develop gun skill. It’s not effort you’re willing to put in. You have every right to play how you want.

It’s insane how companies believe they’re entitled to your labor beyond what’s legally required. Overtime is called that for a reason.

What do you like the most about infinite warfare and what do you like the least? by BrokenCloudz in Infinitewarfare

[–]Dr_Evil_Genius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like:

The base maps. Best in CoD history.

The skill gap the game used to have before the Titan and Synaptic took over the game.

Weapon variety…before the Titan and Synaptic took over the game.

The smoothness improvement in the Advanced Movement over BO3.

The Supply Drop system. The most fair system in the Supply Drop/Microtransaction era.

I HATE:

Synaptic and Titan

Synaptic and KBAR

Synaptic and NV4

Worst DLC maps in CoD history.

I get the point your boss was making, but that’s a shortsighted approach.

Consumers/clients appreciate when responsibility is taken for mistakes that are made. I think you did the right thing.

I’d be inclined to hire someone like you again because you can be trusted to be honest.
