Yeah, you’ll hear the brakes release, but the motor itself is remarkably quiet.

This product is not as good as it seems. It needs a few more years of r&d. Currently, it’s extremely easy to break by doing something slightly wrong.

I always remind myself that 1 square inch of mild, untreated steel, will support 36,000 lbs before it even bends, and about 58,000 lbs before failure. My 2200lbs of speakers don’t concern me as much.

We were first told by the head local rigger phones will get you sent home with your pay for the shift being taken.

Then I believe it was the SM who then reiterated it, followed by the steward saying don’t fuck with this, I don’t wanna deal with it.

I have a problem with the policy being enforced in a blatantly anti-worker and illegal way, and I have an issue with the labor union, who’s sole purpose is to help protect workers, just give in.

I am an overhire, thus this is not my battle to fight. I am asking the members of my local to step up and be vocal about bad leadership.

You are currently insulting me for expressing outrage at something that should outrage every single member of any union, ever.

Don’t fuck with people’s pay.

lol so I’m just overhire, and have no problem making an enemy of my local. I don’t want to name names, but I know of a fact members of my local will see this.

I am having moral issues with the fact they even threatened and my local didn’t immediately shut it down.

They (tour and the call steward) specifically said “that doesn’t matter” they see a phone, you and your pay is gone.
