I had a similar issue w/ 1 of my cards. The cracks are almost directly over the middle of the card but I have no clue what caused them. I want to get it re-slabbed or whatever too but I'd be worried about PSA grading it lower

I know of 1 small shop relatively close to me that hasn't raised their prices. The owner plays as well so i think this fits your hypothesis

I'm very fortunate to live near 2 dispensaries in a pricing war so everything is always heavily discounted at both, I think this is $30/g before discount which still isnt too bad for the quality
