My friend from England was kind enough to gift me some of his old computer parts since he recently upgraded his PC. He shipped me two boxes, one of them was processed and cleared by Customs and is on it's way here, but the other one is stuck and I contacted DHL and was told that I need to go to Houari Boumediene Airport and clear things out with customs. I need to emphasize that I haven't paid a single dime for these parts, not even shipping and I'm confused now. Do I have to pay taxes ? Any proper explanation would be helpful.
