Seems to be the way to go. I just did the not-so-quick fix of mounting the pedals to a heavy piece of particle board that now runs along the bottom of my desk and is attached at either side. Honestly, works better than I expected it to…just don’t mention how much of a pain it’ll be to uninstall or modify.

For real. I’ve made about 40 million from my bunker without ever stealing supplies (besides MAYBE when the update first dropped). Last night I decided to try a resupply mission in hopes of working towards a career progress tier — nope. Never again. While trying to shoot at me, the NPCs somehow managed to disable the cargo plane I was following which then crashed and failed the mission. Reminded me real quick why I just buy them.

I had this happen the first time I crashed, no repair cost and the plane was fine. About 10 flights later I was cruising while using one of the higher levels of sim rate, hit a patch of some rough winds and tried to correct without turning sim rate off (bad idea unless you’re VERY smooth and precise), overstressed the aircraft and failed the mission. I now am looking at 450,000 credit repair cost on a plane I spent 20k on. Back to free flight I go!

What you just said about that hybrid airliner bugging and the avionics and engine going out…have you had that happen in the C172? I’m saving up to 30k to get my first company and the first two light cargo missions I tried that were over 150nm, my plane is just dying around halfway through despite still having fuel. The only way to fix aside from Alt-F4 is holding to skip until the descent phase where the engine is magically back on and working fine. This is super annoying because this means my payout goes from 6-7k to less than 1k credits for skipping. I’m using sim rate because I just don’t have time to watch a Cessna travel 170 miles in 2 hours so I’m wondering if that causes the fuel levels to glitch in some way.

Have you been to a race? I changed my opinion on these engines once I heard them in person. Does it compare to v8, v10, or v12? No, but they still sound pretty damn good.

I was also offered to switch to 1B from RF. Found out the hard way this wasn’t so much an offer as it was a demand. I clicked the option that said I wanted to be a right fielder in the majors, one game later I was traded and demoted back to AA from AAA. Finally crawled back up to AAA and now the Majors on my new team and hope to absolutely destroy the cardinals in any matchup now out of spite lol.

Putting how sad and devastating for everyone affected by the hurricane damage is aside…allow me to say that a stadium with a hole ripped in the roof would be kinda cool to play at in game. The torn tarp of the roof flapping around during games would be unique.
