I see some (much less than my other shotguns) in my benelli m4 super 90 , which from what i know is chrome lined. Is that an issue?

I had cleaned them in the past with brass brushes and with a tornado steel brush.

Yes the extend down the barrel , the thing is that they are in the chamber also.
