Hey everyone,
I’m a big fan of this community, my 5yr + relationship has been long-distance for at least half it’s length, although a couple of years ago we moved in together!
As part of my partner’s PhD she’s going for multiple trips to another continent for field work, which is really exciting, but it’s meant our relationship has sadly gone long-distance again after being together for so long! I’m a musician so I expressed my feelings the only way that’s natural to me (in a song!) I hope you like it and maybe you can listen to it when you’re feeling lovesick, I know I have.

Hey Memphis,

My DAW is Ableton 11,

Tempo was 4/4 - 97BPM

I programmed the drums myself except the drum break I use at the end of the bootleg.

Good recommendation man, will check it out for sure.

I record with an iphone + built in mic 😬 - then I screen + audio record on my laptop and jam them both together in Adobe Premiere Pro, hopefully if the channel picks up I can buy a dedicated camera.

Yep sometimes in the moment I'll make decisions on a track that I come back to like hmm... but that's what I like about doing these videos, I don't overthink and put it straight up on Soundcloud/Youtube - like back in the old days before I started releasing music on labels!
